Since November 2022, I have been working as an electrical engineer and research assistant for the 3UCubed CubeSat satellite mission at the University of New Hampshire (in collaboration with Howard University and Sonoma State University). Our mission is to create a 3U-spec (10cm x 10cm x 30cm) CubeSat that will detect solar flare intensities in the upper atmosphere of the Earth at the cusp regions at each of the Earth’s poles—currently slated for a Summer 2025 launch date.
